As a total beginner, why is my new IP geolocation tool showing inconsistent results?
Hey everyone, I'm super new to this and just launched my very first IP geolocation tool. I'm running into a bit of a puzzling issue where the results for the same IP sometimes vary wildly. Could this be a common problem, and what are the usual suspects?

The most common culprits for inconsistent results are users leveraging VPNs or proxy services, which mask their true location, and the varying accuracy and update frequency of the underlying IP geolocation databases themselves.
