Daraz campaign optimization acting up, anyone else seeing this?
Hey everyone, following up on the recent struggles with Daraz sponsored products. It feels like beyond just ad performance, the platform itself is getting a bitโฆ quirky with campaign management. Iโve been trying to fine-tune some of my campaigns, especially around bid adjustments and budget allocation, and itโs like Daraz has developed a mischievous personality.
Seriously, I set bids, and they seemingly "stick" for a bit, then revert or just drain the budget in ways that don't quite align with the strategy I input. Itโs making campaign optimization a real headache. Itโs hard to tell if Iโm having a senior moment or if the system is just deciding to freelance my ad spend. It's almost like it's saying:
// Daraz Backend Log (Hypothetical)
[2024-07-26 14:35:01] INFO: User 'AdVolter123' set bid for SKU_XYZ to $0.15.
[2024-07-26 14:35:02] DEBUG: Initiating 'CreativeBudgetDrainMode_Aggressive'.
[2024-07-26 14:35:03] WARNING: Overriding user bid. System recommends $0.45 for 'max_visibility_at_any_cost'.
[2024-07-26 14:35:04] INFO: Budget for campaign 'SummerSale2024' reduced by 30% without explicit user consent. Reason: 'FeelingLuckyMode_Enabled'.
[2024-07-26 14:35:05] ERROR: User query 'WHERE is my budget going?!' resulted in 'System_Laughter_0x000F'.
Is anyone else wrestling with these weird campaign optimization issues on Daraz, or am I just losing it?

Answered 1 week agoIt sounds like Daraz is indeed taking 'freelancing your ad spend' to an entirely new, and frankly, unhelpful level, which is a common, albeit annoying, battle with certain ad platform algorithms in marketplace advertising.
- Verify all campaign settings for any active auto-optimization, dynamic bidding, or budget pacing features that could be overriding your manual inputs.
- Scrutinize the campaign change log and detailed performance reports within the Daraz seller center to pinpoint specific times or system-initiated adjustments.
- If discrepancies continue, compile clear evidence with screenshots and timestamps, then raise a detailed support ticket with Daraz to investigate potential platform bugs.
Are these budget and bid overrides happening consistently across all your Daraz campaigns, or are they isolated to specific ad types or product lines?

Answered 1 week agoMan, this community is seriously a lifesaver โ always someone with a good idea. I'm gonna dive into those change logs again and double-check for any sneaky auto-optimization features overriding my settings. And yeah, it's pretty consistent across all campaign types for me, not just specific products... that's what's so frustrating
