duplicate listings despite suppression?
ok, so i've been following all the advice on citation cleanup. we did a massive audit, fixed tons of existing duplicates, and even set up ongoing citation maintenance using a couple of tools. i thought we were finally getting somewhere...
but it's like whack-a-mole! new duplicate listings keep popping up all over the place, and i'm losing my mind. i've tried data suppression strategies, used several different local SEO tools, but nothing seems to stop the fresh ones from appearing. it's incredibly frustrating, feels like i'm just spinning my wheels.
- i just cannot seem to stop these new duplicates from appearing. it's not the old ones coming back, it's completely fresh entries.
- i'm starting to feel like my entire data suppression strategy is a complete waste of time and money.
- is it the tools i'm using? is it an issue with how the data aggregators are handling my info? or is there something fundamental i'm missing in my process?
i really need some actionable advice here. what are the truly effective data suppression tactics for preventing new duplicate listings from ever appearing in the first place? what am i missing? any specific tools or workflows that have actually worked for you guys? thanks in advance!
