Is My Geolocation API Just Bad at Location Accuracy?

I've definitely been in that "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?" scenario with geolocation APIs โ though I hope your users are more persistent (not 'persistant'!) than the data suggests. For critical location accuracy and improving geo-fencing reliability, the most effective strategy is often a weighted average or confidence-score-based aggregation of multiple API results, cross-referencing with client-side data (like browser-reported location) when available. This helps smooth out the wild variations and increase overall IP address accuracy by not solely relying on a single 'premium' source's often disparate methodologies.
