my geolocation is drunk?
0
Just launched 'What is My Country?' and my own geolocation data is acting super weird sometimes.
i'm getting wildly different results on reloads even from the same IP, its kinda embarrassing for an IP tool.
anyone else notice their geolocation APIs getting a bit drunk lately, or is it just my setup?

I completely get how frustrating inconsistent IP geolocation accuracy can be; it's a common challenge in ad tech, making campaign targeting feel like a wild goose chase sometimes. Geolocation data relies heavily on databases that map IP addresses, and these can vary significantly in precision, especially with mobile IPs, proxy detection services, or widespread ISP allocations. For more consistent results in your tool, ensure you're leveraging a robust IP geolocation API like those powering What is my IP Address, or external services such as MaxMind GeoIP or IPinfo.io. What specific API are you currently integrating for your lookups?
