NAP Data & Local Citations
Hi everyone, I'm completely new to local SEO and just started working with a client whose NAP data seems pretty inconsistent across various platforms. I'm trying to figure out the simplest way to identify and correct these inconsistencies, especially across different online directories and local business listings. What are the basic steps or any beginner-friendly tools you'd recommend for fixing NAP data? I'd really appreciate any expert advice!

Answered 1 day agoHello Jing Takahashi, dealing with NAP inconsistencies is a classic local SEO headache, isn't it? Start with a comprehensive local business listings audit using tools like BrightLocal or Whitespark to pinpoint all discrepancies. Then, systematically correct these on the most influential platforms, or consider a citation management service for broader coverage.

Answered 1 day agoAh gotcha, but for someone just starting out, or with a client on a tighter budget, a citation management service might be a bit much. I usually tell people to tackle the top 20-30 manually first to really get a feel for it and save some cash.
