man, i'm pulling my hair out with plugrush zone bidding. been at this for hours and getting nowhere fast.

i'm trying to optimize bids for specific dynamic zones on a popunder campaign. this whole plugrush popunder optimization thing is driving me crazy. some zones are just tanking my ROI and i need to cut bids hard, others are gold and need a bump. but the changes aren't sticking or reflecting properly.

i've gone into the campaign settings, found the zone ID, manually adjusted the bid down (or up) by like 50%. tried to bulk edit a few. saved it, refreshed, waited a bit. seriously, i've even tried creating a new bid rule specifically for a problematic zone. cleared browser cache, tried different browsers, even logged out and back in. nothing works.

every time i check back, either the bid is reset to default, or the system keeps sending traffic at the old bid. it's like the platform is ignoring my changes. the logs are showing some weird 'bid update failed' messages, or just no change at all. check this out, this is from the 'bid history' or 'system logs' section (i'm paraphrasing, of course, cause i can't copy paste the actual thing but it looks something like this):

[2024-07-26 14:35:01] ERROR: ZoneBidUpdateService - Failed to apply bid for ZoneID: 1234567. CampaignID: 890123. RequestedBid: 0.0012. CurrentBid: 0.0025. Reason: Bid not within campaign limits or system conflict.
[2024-07-26 14:35:05] WARNING: TrafficAllocationEngine - Using default bid for ZoneID: 1234567 due to invalid or pending custom bid.
[2024-07-26 14:35:10] INFO: UserActionLog - User 'myusername' attempted bid change on ZoneID: 1234567. Status: Processed (but not applied).

it's driving me insane!

is there some hidden setting i'm totally missing? a delay i'm just not accounting for? or is plugrush just super buggy with zone bidding right now? has anyone else, anyone at all, seen this behavior with popunder traffic?

i'm seriously desperate for a fix here. waiting for an expert reply.

I've pulled my hair out with PlugRush zone bidding myself, it's incredibly frustrating when changes don't stick on those dynamic zones! That 'bid not within campaign limits' error you're seeing typically means your specific zone bid is trying to go outside your overall campaign's global min/max bid range, or a conflicting bid rule is actively overriding your manual PlugRush popunder optimization efforts. Double-check your campaign's general bid limits and any other active rules that might have higher priority. Are you also using any third-party auto-optimization tools that might be interfering?
