Struggling with Clickadu conversion rates, what am I doing wrong?
0
Hey everyone, I'm super new to paid advertising and just read the thread about Clickadu traffic quality. That got me thinking about my own struggles with getting good results from my campaigns. I'm trying to figure out if it's my strategy or something else, and hoping some experienced folks here can shed some light.
- My First Clickadu Push Campaign:
- Recently launched my very first push notification campaign on Clickadu for a simple lead gen offer (email submit).
- Targeting Tier 1 and Tier 2 geos (US, CA, UK, AU, DE).
- Tried several different creatives and landing pages, A/B testing variations to see what sticks.
- The Core Problem - Low Conversion Rates:
- While I'm getting decent impressions and even reasonable CTRs (around 1-2%), my actual conversion rates are abysmal.
- I'm talking less than 0.1% on a good day, which is just burning through my budget really fast.
- It genuinely feels like the traffic just isn't converting, even if the initial clicks look okay. This makes me wonder about the actual push traffic quality I'm getting.
- What I've Tried So Far (and What Didn't Work):
- Bid Adjustments: Started with recommended bids, then tried increasing/decreasing them to see if it impacted traffic quality or conversion volume, but there was no significant change in conversions.
- Landing Page Optimization: Made sure my landing pages load super fast and are fully mobile-friendly. I've even tested different headlines and CTAs to try and capture more interest, but still no luck.
- Tracking: Set up basic tracking with Clickadu tokens to see source IDs, but I'm not really sure how to effectively use this data to block bad sources or optimize yet. It feels like I'm just collecting data without knowing what to do with it.
- Targeting: Stuck to very broad targeting within the selected geos, thinking I'd optimize later once I had more data. However, I'm starting to wonder if this broad approach is actually the root of the problem, leading to irrelevant traffic.
- Specific Questions & Help Needed:
- For beginners, what are the absolute must-do steps to ensure I'm not just buying bot traffic or completely irrelevant clicks on Clickadu? How can I verify the push traffic quality I'm receiving?
- How can I more effectively use the Clickadu reporting data, especially those source IDs, to identify and block underperforming sources/zones to drastically improve my conversion rates?
- Are there any specific bid strategies or targeting nuances on Clickadu that are crucial for beginners to understand to get better quality traffic that actually converts into leads?
Anyone faced this before when starting out? Any seasoned Clickadu users have tips for a total noob like me? I'd really appreciate any guidance!
