Hey everyone, I'm pretty new to all this but I've been lurking here for a bit and really appreciate the insights. I was super inspired by the previous thread on Ecosia optimization strategies and the whole idea of sustainable advertising really resonates with my SaaS brand's values, so I decided to dive into Ecosia ads. I thought it would be a great way to align our marketing with our mission. The core problem I'm facing is that despite launching my first Ecosia campaign, I'm seeing very low to almost no conversions, even with what I consider decent click-through rates. The traffic seems to be there, and people are clicking on my ads, which is good, but it's just not converting into sign-ups or purchases like I've seen on other platforms. This is specifically for my Ecosia PPC efforts, and it's quite frustrating because I genuinely believe in the platform's mission. So far, I've tried a few things that usually work for me elsewhere. I've done really careful keyword targeting, making sure my keywords are highly relevant to my SaaS. I've also been A/B testing ad copy with clear calls to action, trying to entice users to sign up for a free trial or learn more. My landing page is definitely fast, mobile-optimized, and the messaging is consistent with the ads. I've also triple-checked my conversion tracking setup to make sure everything is firing correctly and conversions are actually being recorded when they happen. Everything seems to be in order on that front, but the numbers just aren't moving. I'm starting to wonder if the Ecosia audience has a different conversion intent compared to other search engines, or if there are unique bidding strategies for Ecosia PPC that I should be prioritizing to focus on conversions rather than just clicks. Am I missing any fundamental beginner-level optimization techniques that are unique to this platform? I'm completely open to learning and trying new things. I'd really appreciate any advice on common pitfalls or specific strategies for improving conversion rates on Ecosia. I'm keen to make this work, especially since it aligns so well with the idea of sustainable PPC. Anyone faced this before?

Hello Pooja Mehta,
I'm starting to wonder if the Ecosia audience has a different conversion intent compared to other search engines...
You're on the right track; Ecosia users often exhibit a stronger intent for ethical and sustainable brands, making conversion optimization a bit more nuanced than on other platforms, which is always a fun challenge for marketers. Beyond standard PPC tactics, ensure your landing page messaging and product narrative prominently highlight your SaaS's direct contribution to positive impact or alignment with eco-friendly values to truly capture this audience's sustainable advertising performance interest. Hope this helps your conversions!
