Moj Ads pixel setup help?

hey everyone, i'm super new to all this digital marketing stuff, just trying to get our first moj ads campaigns off the ground. i saw the earlier thread about conversion tracking discrepancies and it's making me kinda worried about our setup.

we're trying to implement the moj ads pixel setup on our landing pages, but i'm not sure if i'm doing it right. when i use the pixel helper, i see the base pixel firing, but none of our custom events like 'lead' or 'purchase' seem to register properly. it's like they're just not being picked up, or maybe i'm placing the code wrong. i've tried putting the event code right after the base pixel, but still no luck. this moj ads pixel implementation is proving trickier than i thought. sometimes i see this in the browser console when i click a button that should triger an event:

is there a specific order or a common mistake folks make with moj ads pixel setup? maybe something about custom event registration i'm missing? anyone faced this before?
